Progress Presentation at AGROMALIM 2025 Conference
Dissemination activity carried out during AGROMALIM – International Fair of Agriculture, Food Industry and Packaging on 13 September 2025 in Arad, Romania. A progress project presentation was delivered to an audience of more than 40 participants. The event, organized by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Arad County, included business meetings and company presentations and showcased agricultural technologies, machinery/equipment, crop inputs, animal husbandry systems, and agri-food/packaging solutions—supporting visibility of the project within the regional socio-economic ecosystem.
Seminar Presentation at the 15th Romanian International Conference for Education & Research
Dissemination activity carried out during the 15th Edition of the Romanian International Conference for Education & Research on 05 June 2025. A poster titled “Sustainable Agriculture and Education for Long-Term Development” was presented, highlighting links between education, skills development, and the transition toward sustainable/precision agriculture. The activity contributed to raising awareness of project-relevant themes among academic participants through poster sessions and parallel presentations.
Connecting to the Future
Two-day multiplier event held on 08–09 April 2025 in Arad, Romania, designed as a dialogue between students and representatives from the socio-economic environment. The event included a project-focused session on smart agriculture and sustainable development, highlighting how precision agriculture supports employability and more sustainable farming practices. Day 1 focused on youth entrepreneurship themes related to agribusiness and agrotourism, with an audience of 47 participants. Day 2 addressed current and future environmental protection challenges, with an audience of 39 participants, including a project-related talk on the role of precision agriculture in reducing pollution impacts on natural ecosystems. The programme also encouraged student participation through activities/contests and dissemination materials featuring the project identity.
TPM in Arad
Two-day transnational project meeting held in Arad, Romania (28–29 October 2024). Partners jointly reviewed the project’s dissemination channels and agreed updates to the project website (content completion, partner info updates, and a simplified structure), including publishing videos via YouTube through embedded links rather than interactive web features. The consortium also aligned the social media approach—using LinkedIn as the primary platform and Instagram as secondary—planning to share drone-operation photos/videos and technical drone information. In addition, partners coordinated evidence practices for dissemination activities (tracking participant numbers and photo documentation), confirmed progress-report uploads, and outlined priorities for the next six months of work and coordination.
Agromalim 2024 International Fair — SMART Farming Project Dissemination
Dissemination activity carried out during Agromalim – International Fair of Agriculture, Food Industry and Packaging in Arad, Romania (08 September 2024). A project presentation introduced the Erasmus+ SMART Farming initiative to stakeholders attending the fair (business representatives, professional associations, and visitors interested in agricultural technologies, machinery, and agri-food solutions). Attendance exceeded 40 participants, supporting visibility among the regional socio-economic ecosystem and strengthening links between academia and applied agriculture.
TPM in Adana
Two-day transnational project meeting held in Adana, Türkiye (16–17 May 2024) within the SMART Farming project (2023-1-DE01-KA220-HED-000166720). The meeting combined on-site visits and technical working sessions: partners visited the Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute to review applied agricultural research and drone-related practices, then aligned the project’s data-collection methodology for the upcoming wheat-field campaigns (drone-based NDVI generation using red and NIR bands, with defined stress variables and an initial sampling layout concept). The consortium also advanced dissemination preparation by agreeing a phased outreach approach (content-first), planning the project website structure, social media templates, and dissemination materials (newsletter, roll-up, flyer), and coordinating future outputs such as the project book and video content. The next interim meeting planning was also initiated.
